Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 22, 2026

1. Who We Are

StemSolo (the “Service”) is operated by Blair Studios LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: your email address and password (stored hashed).
  • Audio files: the audio files you upload and the stems generated from them.
  • Payment metadata: transaction IDs, plan, and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.
  • Usage data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, and pages visited, used for security and product improvement.
  • Cookies: a session cookie used to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process your audio into stems and deliver results to you.
  • To create and manage your account and provide support.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription or credits.
  • To monitor for fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms.
  • To improve the Service’s reliability, performance, and quality.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

We do not use Your Content (uploaded audio or generated stems) to train AI models, and we do not sell your personal information.

4. Audio Storage & Retention

Uploaded audio files and the stems we generate are stored only as long as needed to provide the Service. By default, files are retained for a limited window after processing so you can download the results, then deleted from active storage. Backups may persist for a short additional period before being overwritten.

You can delete a job (and its files) from your dashboard at any time. Deleting your account removes your audio and personal profile from active systems within a reasonable period.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information only with vendors who help us run the Service:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Cloud hosting & storage providers — to host the application, database, and uploaded audio.
  • Audio processing infrastructure — to perform stem separation on your files.

These vendors are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations and may only use your data to provide services to us.

6. Cookies

We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not place advertising cookies or share data with ad networks. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, though doing so will sign you out.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We will respond to valid requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, we will delete it upon becoming aware.

9. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and access controls. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to promptly address any incidents.

10. International Users

The Service is operated from the United States. By using it, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
